sprouts

SO, I lost my camera and I'm doing the IB, which is hard and I had the PSAT last weekend and I have had play rehearsal all most every day for the pat two months. So yea, when I get home all I want to do is make dinner and drag myself into bed. That is why I have not posted for two months, sorry. But something happened in Sunday that I had to share. I FOUND BRUSSELS SPROUT IN THE MARKET. The only thing close to a green leafy I can find here is lettuce, and they do have many many different kinds of lettuce, but still. So I almost trampled the stall when I saw them, the 14 year old boy who helped me found this very funny. Sorry for the lack of baking I'm still trying to find tofu in my town. Cooking spray would be helpful as well. I have a trip back to Houston in a week so I will be stuffing my bags with a much American vegan food as I can, clothing, who needs clothing?

Baking Powder

So, because you can't swing a cat here and not hit a bakery, it is almost imposable to find baking powder. People just don't bake at home. The only place to find it is at the American store in the city. And you there it is not cheep and in very small jars. But i got some, have i said how much i love my mom, so right now the smell of banana bread is filling the house. NOW i feel at home.

Iron Cupcake - Chili Peppers

Chocolate Chili Cupcake with Orange Chocolate Ganache

This is my first entrance into the iron cupcake. The challenge was chili pepper. The cake has roasted pepper in it and on the top. I do not know what type of pepper I got however I know they came from Spain. The cake turned out well however the pepper on the top was way to hot and if you got it in your first bite it burnt your mouth and that was bad. So before you ate one you had to take the pepper off. I am competing to win something from ETSY artist CAKESPY http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5243382.
